Shanghai Quality Technology Supervision Bureau recently destroyed a den making fake cosmetics. 11.02 million fake cosmetic products, with a total value of over RMB1 million, were seized at the den. The authority said cosmetics are special products closely relating to human health and cosmetics makers must receive hygiene and product licenses before producing cosmetics.
