A Visit to Seagate’s Chinese Facilities

Seagate now operates a manufacturing facility in Wuxi and one in Suzhou as well. The Wuxi facility, the company’s first plant in China, is a major production base engaged in manufacturing of hard drives for both desktops and notebooks. Seagate then acquired Maxtor and became the owner of the latter’s Suzhou facility, which is even larger than the one in Wuxi.
