A.P. Moller - Maersk Group announced on 16 May that it has donated RMB 2 million to China for emergency rescue in earthquake-stricken Sichuan Province. The Group’s employees have donated RMB 1 million as of 16 May. Every donation made by its employee was then matched one-to-one by the Group. The Group’s Chengdu office hopes to assign an engineering team for on-site rescue.
