FMG ships first batch of iron ore to Baosteel

Fortescue Metals Group (FMG), the third largest mining corporation in Australia, has completed the shipment of first batch of iron ore to Chinese company Baosteel, signifying FMG formally pose a challenge to BHP Billiton and Rio Tinto’s dominant positions in Australia’s ore supply market. This batch of iron ore totaled 180,000 tons, with a value of approximately RMB 90 million.
