Throughputs at Chinese province Hebei’s ports top 400 million tons

A source with the Hebei Provincial Communications Department said throughputs at all the ports in Hebei, China, have for the first time exceeded the 400-million-ton mark this year. The ports’ year-to-date throughputs stood at 410 million tons, up 13.9 percent year-on-year, with the Port of Tangshan seeing the fastest growth among the province’s three major ports.
