Buoyed by the several favorable policies launched by the Chinese government to boost the development of the country’s real estate market, the second-hand housing market in Beijing has begun to rebound. According to statistics from a real estate agency in Beijing, the city’s second-hand housing transactions increased 74.6 per cent and 16.8 per cent in November and December 2008 respectively. Industry analysts expect the city’s second-handing housing market to see another rebound in the wake of the Spring Festival.
