According to the latest data released by Analysys International, the Chinese mobile online game market achieved revenues of RMV143 million (or approx. US$21 million) in 2008, accounting for 10 per cent of the country’s mobile game market’s total. Analysys International expects China’s mobile game market to increase to RMB1.9 billion (approx. US$286 million) in 2009. The increase is partly attributable to a commercial operation model that will be developed for the mobile online game sector.
