Throughput of ports in Hebei breaks 400 million-ton mark

As of late November 2008, the combined throughput of ports across Hebei province had broken the 400 million-ton mark for the first time, with the total throughput of 410 million tons for the first 11 months of 2008, up 13.9 percent year on year. As of December 10, 2008, the Tangshan Port in the province had recorded throughput of 120.4 million tons, an increase of 72.3 percent from a year ago.
